Handle employee leave requests, approvals, balance tracking, and leave type configuration.

Tab Structure:

  1. Applications - Create, submit, and manage leave requests
  2. Balances - View and manage employee leave balances
  3. Adjustments - Make balance adjustments and corrections
  4. Registration - Configure leave types and policies

15.2 Leave Applications

15.2.1 Request Statuses

15.2.2 Creating a Leave Request

  1. Click "Create Request" button
  2. Fill in the request details:
    • Employee (required)
    • Leave Type (required)
    • Start Date (required)
    • End Date (required)
    • Days Requested: Calculated or entered
    • Half Day: Toggle if taking half day
    • Half Day Period: Morning/Afternoon
    • Reason (required)
    • Contact During Leave
    • Reliever: Employee covering duties
  3. Click "Create" to save as draft

Business Rules:

  • Days requested are calculated from start/end dates
  • Cannot request leave exceeding available balance
  • Overlapping leave periods are flagged
  • Approved requests deduct from leave balance
  • Cancelled approved requests restore balance

15.3 Leave Balances

15.3.1 Balance Information

15.5 Leave Registration (Leave Types)

15.5.1 Accrual Methods

15.5.2 Creating a Leave Type

  1. Click "New Leave Type" button
  2. Fill in the leave type details:
    • Leave Type Name (required)
    • Default Days Per Year (required)
    • Accrual Method
    • Max Days Per Request
    • Minimum Notice Days
    • Description
    • Paid Leave: Toggle if leave is paid
    • Requires Approval: Toggle if approval needed
    • Requires Attachment: Toggle if documents required
    • Active: Toggle to enable/disable
  3. Click "Create Leave Type" to save
